My impression of Angela...
She's like a princess? She's got an angel face... a sweet voice...?
She's one of the few lucky ones who got great opportunity to capture audiences' attention when she first debut, by playing the leading role in a few Taiwanese TV Dramas which quickly went hot ..? Like drama MVP Valentine where I saw her the very first time... Is it almost 7 years ago or 6? MVP Valentine was a hit at that time. At that time, she's not stand-out at all.. she's just an average, well...fresh looking young actress.
But I think she did a good job in the drama. I liked her.

Then, I was surprised to know that she's going to be a singer too... you know, when people become popular from TV, they usually go to sing too, whether they are good at singing or not.. So I thought maybe she's one of them? Because she had captured quite a lot of young audiences then, her company might want to take advantage of that and make her more well-rounded a star to capture more audiences? Timing is key for an artist to become super star. So..her first song was 真愛冒險. It was the theme song of then a new online game. I wasn't impressed by the song...or her performance in the song.. but it was ok.

Later, to my much surprise, not that she released an album (her 1st CD album Over the Rainbow), but how well she 演繹 the songs in the album.. Maybe it was luck that she got a few very good songs in her album... but if without her talent at singing.. good songs would have been wasted. Her 演繹 brought the songs alive. 我的最愛,遺失的美好, ... are still my favorite songs.

Then, I found out that she attended a singing contest in Canada and won the 1st price .. before she's discovered by the star agent. She's got a passion in music...

5 years after her first debut in the music world, she's already become a superstar... she earned it by her talent as well as her hard work... her music continues to touch me and, I believe, many others..

Where is the soul of a music piece?
I would say...
It has none until a performer puts his/her in it.
