Guitar & Me ... encounter

What do i have to do with guitar? What does guitar have to do with me? Nothing... 3 yeas ago.. Now? ...

I think it's about 3 years ago. I was looking for some stuff to learn and do outside of regular courses. I have looked at the dance courses, martial art courses on SRC website. I have looked at clubs like dance horizon to join..Actually, i went to the dance club public lesson once too... there were so many ppl there.. and you know.. there were more girls than guys.. so you couldn't really find a male partner to dance with you unless you went with one. haha... ChaCha was fun tho... mmm.. quick step was really quick! ... yea .. that was the one time i have visited dance club. haha..

So ..

Ya.. also, i checked out AMS mini school.. Mini school offered a variety of interesting courses... and one of them was Beginner Guitar. I am like one of those who were so wishing that their parents had taken them to some of musical trainings in their childhood. So they can play some musical instrument now when they grow up.. I alway admire those who can play instruments, esp piano, for no particular reason. =p

At that time, I got to know Joe through Erico and became familiar with him through some gatherings and activities.. mmm I was talking with Joe once.. and we spoke of the mini school beginner guitar course.. apparently, we were both interested in taking it. you know, when you have someone to go with you, you become more determined to go. So we did! We rented guitars from Long & McQuade on Broadway or Tom Lee on Granville?.. I can't quite recall..

But I still kinda remember the first guitar I played.. it's a full-body classical guitar.. was it Yamaha or Fujiyama?? (image source: Tomleemusic.ca) haha.. but you know.. classical guitar has plastic strings and wider necks & frets compared to acoustic ones.. so it's extremely hard for me to play as a beginner..plus with my small hands!! but i knew nothing about guitar. so .. just rented a guitar as long as it's a guitar and cheap. and it came with a hard case... mmmmm.. maybe i should get a hard case for my guitar too.. =p


haha.. so Me and Joe went to the mini school beginner guitar course together. that's how i started with guitar.
