I will Go - Starfield
To the desperate eyes and reaching hands
To the suffering and the lean
To the ones the world has cast aside
Where you want me I will be
I will go, I will go
I will go, Lord send me
To the world, To the lost
To the poor and hungry
Take everything I am
I'm clay within your hands
I will go, I will go, send me
Let me not be blind with privilege
Give me eyes to see the pain
Let the blessing You've poured out on me
Not be spent on me in vain
Let this life be used for change
I wanna live for you
Go where you lead me
I wanna follow you
Send me!

My dream is to have a bakery shop... I really mean it. I can see everything I do now has something to do with it.. After all, it's not just an imaginary bakery shop. though every time i speak of it I speak it in a funny way...and people laugh about it.. ideas can be silly.. and unrealistic.. but really, you can create a legend with a silly and unrealistic mind. you just never know.
My cousin Karen is back in HK now, for good, she decided. so My Uncle and Auntie spoke to me too they planned to sell their house next year and move back to HK too...
so maybe I should start looking for my own apartment now? ? since my Dad and Mom have the thought of coming here.... ha...
you know ... my dream bakery shop will be in Shenzhen ... I can see my shop offering not just best quality of bread and service etc... but more...
I decide to listen to God.
I will go where He want me to be.
Call me and Send Me I will go. call me to stay here? call me to go back? call me to somewhere else? ...
Send me! and I will go!

I can identify with this msg. In my crisisline volunteering training, we are told that callers face issues that's too big for us to handle or help. We can't help them to get out of the big hole that they are in. We shouldn't give false hope, we shouldn't try to cheer them up. We need to respect how they are feeling though we WANT them to feel better.
ReplyDeleteso what can we offer? when there's nothing we can do, what can we offer to these hopeless and depressed callers?
compassion. to acknowledge and to accept them for who they are and what they are going through. We don't deny the fact that they are in pain, we embrace them.
I always think that God has given great great things to me, so much that I feel I don't deserve. But I know God wants me to care for the broken hearted, He wants me to be empathetic and compassionate to anyone coming into my life.
