Fruitips Talk

Do you know the difference between the English version Fruitips and the Chinese version? Have you ever tried the Chinese version?

I never understand why the Chinese version Fruitips is so expensive. It's always listed as $4 + regardless of the pricing of the English version. You know sometimes they have sales like $3.99 for two (English version). Why?

until...? I got to tried the Chinese version cuz one of my iJump group mates bought it for us for the camp Reunion! so.. what's the difference. first of all, it says Chinese on outside of the cylinder container "能得利软糖". then, the candies are made into some weird shapes.. some one said they are in different shapes.. but I remember they looked the same to me.. mmm.... I could also see that the sugar studded on the candy are big, so the texture is rougher than the English version.. and.. what about the taste? i only tried 2 flavors/colors.. the black current and green (what is green? I couldn't tell.) Anyhow, both taste weird to me.. and a little bit too sweet for me too..and they were harder to chew because they were in fact harder compared to the English version..

so what makes the Chinese version more expensive? From HK? Sold in only few places? ... One thing i need to mention is that, because of their shapes which don't fit well together..lots of space wasted thus less candies fit into one bottle.. higher price for less candies. So why? mmmm ... yea.. it claims on the bottle that there's 4 times of fruit juice in each piece of candy!!! woo~~ my first impression was.. mmm so there must be more calories in each piece too , plus, there are more sugar there... no good.

in a word, I like the English version much better. I think the English version is also the original version too. I like this original.

You know why I like fruitips in particular out of so many candies? If you like to take a guess...

  2. be..be..be..because there are 5 colors, so you can EAT 5 candies and still say "I am just try out each flavour option before I decide if I really like this candy box"
