瑕不掩玉 - 瑕：玉上的斑點。比喻缺點掩蓋不了優點，缺點是次要的，優點是主要的 (~a definition from a random webpage)

Actually, I heard this phrase from TV.. and found the meaning of it more intriguing ... and inspiring. 

瑕不掩玉 - "雖然有瑕疵卻不失其價值"

 Although it's something I think I already know... when I really think about it...  It means much more than what I thought it was.
