After I got up this morning, I tried to turn on the lights.. it didn't work...Apparently, there's no electricity.
I thought of the mail from BC hydro I picked up yesterday.  It's a warning letter about my overdue payment.
It says the electricity will be disconnected without further notice if the payment is not received. ... I paid the fees last night.. was that too late?
"ng hai ma? seriously? .."  I was a little bit panicked cuz.. i remember that the letter also says the reconnection fee is in hundreds.
I called BC hydro right away... and heard that there's a high volume of calls because of the power outage..  "power outage" ? I thought to myself?  and right away, my lights were on.. and i heard the sound of the fridge running..
so.. That's what the "power outage" meant...

After I got to work... I noticed my computer was off....yea because of the power outage too...
Later, as i was walking to the lab to start up the other computers, i saw the coworker who's away last week attending the level 2 first aid training. "Congratulations" I said to her..
she smiled and said to me," ..feel free to get injured."
That made me laugh so hard!
