If not being told... no one would know there were two large trays of home made sandwiches on the counter.. they were covered by tin foil.
they were prepared for the ones who were gonna be late to the meeting?
yea... the ones who didn't have a chance to eat before coming to the meeting.. as well as everyone else who's still hungry after dinner. Everyone could just feel free to grab a bite during the meeting...
There were 2 kinds of sandwiches.. one, I think, was tuna salad, the other was beef cheese. There were quite a lot of each kind.. they looked nice but.. too bad I wasn't hungry... Then, the person who brought them took out a bunch of paper bags.. and said, "anyone would like to pack lunch for tmr?.." Right on! I packed away one of each kind. =p
The tuna salad one was in triangle shape (a quarter of a regular size sandwich), wrapped by the cup cake cups on the bottom. The beef cheese one was half of a regular size sandwich, wrapped very carefully by a colorful napkin. so ..no need to worry whether your hands are dirty or the sandwiches may make your hands dirty..
What's special about these sandwiches?
nothing really ...?
They were made to feed the hungry and they were made to be enjoyed.
There were no utensils.. so they were just the way they should be..?
what about the person who made them / brought them?
and yea. they were yummy. =p

What is the point of the whole post?
ReplyDeleteThank you for reading the post and thank you for the comment. ha
ReplyDeleteI guess...the sandwiches and the thoughtfulness behind the sandwiches is a good reminder to myself .... something I need to learn and put in my heart.. the meeting is important. but the people in/coming to the meeting are far more important.
sometimes I post something that doesn't necessarily have a point. could be just random thoughts.. and some self reflection..
