Take me into Your Holy Place - SOP




I had the chance and privilege to talk to Mr. Ben Ng (吳秉堅先生) during a break in winter conference. Apparently, he and his wife just dropped by Vancouver after a trip to US.  It was unplanned but Ben heard about the winter conference and really wanted to come and shared the new production, the "We Are One" album, with brothers and sisters there.

I recognized Ben when he was setting up his booth area because I have seen his pictures and posters, on Facebook. I didn't know much about him except that he seemed to be reputable among the Cantonese Christian music world/culture.

Ben is very outspoken and approachable. When I was checking out the books on the table where he got to share to put His "We Are One" albums, he started to talk to me.  He was very proud of this new album where 108 musicians/artists came together to work together and produce it. God worked miraculously during the process and made it happen.

Ben also gave a workshop to share how God lead him into and contributed to the christian music community in HK and how God used their music to serve His Church over the years.  Ben shared that he's impressed by the various Christian music groups around the globe, such as Hillsong from Australia, Stream of Praise from the US/Taiwan, Some group (i forgot the name) from UK...  which have taken Christian music to a new level Christians and non Christians can both enjoy.  A breakthrough is what he's seeking with the HK christian musicians/artists. Moving by God, "We Are One" was produced in that context.

I wrote the above to the best of my understanding through what Ben shared to me personally and to the group.

Pray God would use His servants and His music to touch more lives. Amen.
