G.E.M's second performance in I am a Singer

I wondered what she's thinking when she had her eyes closed at the beginning... Was she praying?


Is it because she's still young... She's experienced quite a lot.. but there's still so much she's not experienced and not known (that goes to myself as well).. Indeed, she's performed the song very very well, skill wise and energy wise and emotion wise.  I like it. She also got the 2nd highest votes in this round. I do feel not...possibly the struggles, the brokenness and heartaches behind..  It's hard when you are singing others songs to be seeing or feeling exactly the same things.  Observations could be more easily matched but not the interpretations. After all, we are all different and living different lives. That's ok. Music is a kind of expression. G.E.M expressed hers, beautifully and powerfully.
