Servanthood ..
Servanthood leadership.. not a new term.. have known it for a few years too..
not sure who invented this term.. We always have some big terms, "buzz words" to "categorize" some types of people.. things.. phenomenons. It's good in a way.. it makes communication more effective if you understand what's inscribed in those terms/words.
I have been contemplating about "Servanthood leadership"... I don't remember what I read about it from the books.. but I'd think about Jesus. He didn't originate this term, but He simply originates what the term says.
If you took this term "Servanthood Leadership" literally/"physically", it might seem contradictory in itself. What do you expect me to do? if you took it mentally, it might seem irrational. Why all the trouble? if you took it emotionally, it might seem intimidating, burdening. Why taking it so personal while you could just stick with being professional? if you took it spiritually... what does Jesus tell you about it? He tells you about it through actions, emotions.. attitude and His relationships with His disciples, people and God.
nothing I can fully comprehend or master.... i think ..I don't need to.
... he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9
