lectures could be quite interesting .. not just the lecture itself is interesting.. but also the things that are happening inside the lecture -- the dynamics.
I was already very sleepy in the 2nd lecture today. the 3rd/last lecture was a guest lecture in a smothering classroom that has weird smell... anyways, I was trying to stay awake by taking notes.. and I slowly gained my consciousnesses back as I did so. The lecture itself was very informative. It could have been more interesting if the guest speaker could speed up a little bit. but .. I guess that's his style... and he's a retired professor.. to speak for a 2 hour lecture takes a lot of energy. He prepared to share quite a bit with us. He couldn't finish everything at the end but he tried his best. really appreciate his effort and heart.
as he's slow pace, I got to observe quite a bit what's going on in the class. It's quite interesting. You know, some left the class in the middle of the lecture; some looked around to see who were still remaining; some tried to stay awake.; some played the phone while "listening" to the lecture.. some looked at some other stuff in the laptop... and .. what about me? hahaha taking time to observe my dear classmates and finding tings that I can laugh about. *kidding.
I was paying attention most of the time and got to learn quite a bit from the lecture. Just that you think time could be used more efficiently such as multitasking. yea.. I read a few articles while listening to the lecture. got reminded that .. there's a lot of suffering in this world.. a lot are human inflicting... due to greed...or "ignorant"..... it is heart breaking.. .. but.. .who am i to say when i am living such a comfortable and peaceful life? having my own greed and ignorance?.. .. I do hope what I have learned would allow me to do something to help.
Pray God would grant me wisdom, courage and discernment.
Pray that God would keep me on the track.
Pray the same for your.
