freezing cold

it was freezing cold yesterday.  it was a nice sunny day so it was actually quite nice to be outdoor at the farmers market.

one of the market crew who greeted me helped set up the station i was responsible for.  She said, "everything's frozen", as she positioned the table. That reminded me of "Frozen", the movie. I asked her, "do you like Frozen?".. she looked puzzled and asked,"what's that?"  I answered, "Frozen, the Disney movie"...  She looked even more puzzled. ..

I was surprised she didn't even hear about the movie. I believe she's younger than me like by quite a bit.  she looked tanned. she probably works outdoors more often. I bet she must have her own stuff to do when others spend time watching the movie.. discussing about the movie.. listening to the movie theme song, etc. Every time i saw her whether directly or indirectly, she's wearing a smile.

I was standing at the same spot.. sometimes moved a bit.. greeting people as they walked by.  Why did i feel a sense of happiness when I said "good morning" to someone (a stranger), and heard a response? Most of time, that response came with a smile.  Many times, happiness is free and you can get it just like that. Those who were greeted, I hope that had brought them a sense of happiness too. Although it's freezing cold on the outside, it's still warm in the inside.
