Early Wednesday morning of the reading break

My car's engine oil light came on early last week.. I haven't had time to get it replaced.  Thankfully, it's reading break this week and I should have time to do it.  Here I am, early Wednesday morning sitting in the Richmond Honda lounge waiting for my Bobo while it's being serviced.  I am also enjoying a cup of coffee... because there's no latte..

I booked this appointment 2 days ago. I asked how much it would take and how long. As I was expecting only the oil change and regular maintenance e.g. tire rotation, it should be done in around 1 hour and cost me around $80. However, when i came in this morning, they told me I should have got the transmission fluid and the break fluid replaced as well as my Bobo's mileage has passed the 48000 line. (I feel that i should've spent more time getting to know my Bobo) Ok. Whatever, if it needs be done it needs be done.  Therefore, it will cost me at least an extra hour and $400 something in total. Now, it's the time to say that keeping a car is really expensive or I should allow more time to shop around (yes, for the future).

The car saves time for you, it also costs you time which is considered small in portion to the time saved.  It costs you money and never generates money for you..(not for me). But if time is money, then it has.  It pollutes. Since I am driving it, I am the ultimate polluter?... The damage to the environments is long term.  ...  So how do you calculate all that? ...

Anyways, it's almost 9am but I won't be able to leave until at least 11 am. I'd better get some serious matters done using the time here.
