what kind of person are you

In today's class, Professor mentioned the way I did the research question for the past assignment.  She said that she knew I am a computer person...  ...
I wonder if I did the question in a very different way from others so that she thought that had to do with my background as "a computer person"...
At the same time, I thought to myself, "Am I a computer person??.. I want to be an economics person..  "
