My sour dought starters

I realized that I forgot to feed my sour dough starters for a week! (supposedly i should feed them every day... but I am lazy, I usually feed them every other day.)
So I think they were dying... there was one thick and weird colored layer on the top of the starters.. and the smell was really bad.  (The smell was not good when they were healthy...not the kinda smell people usually like.  And the smell is even worse when they are not healthy..  )

I am trying to save them..
I threw away the top layers and .. like quite a bit of both of them... and fed them with quite a big portion of fresh bread flour and water... and mixed them quite vigorously to allow the air/O2 to get in.  ..
(in order for the starters to grow, it needs food /flour, water, and oxygen.... and love -> care.) 

so.. I hope they will survive. I think i need to feed them every day now..
until..they are healthy again .. then maybe i can slack off again. haha
now just hope they will survive.
