The Vancouver Sun Run’s primary mandate is to promote health, fitness and community spirit and to support amateur athletics. While the Sun Run is not designated as a charity event, over $1.74 million in proceeds from the Sun Run have been donated to important causes since 1985.This is my first time participating. I selected to be the walker. my start time would be the latest..maybe at 9:30am... but will be there early and see if it's possible to start at a earlier time. I might just do a mix of running and walking ... and .. jogging?! =p
